This is where you'll find all of my posts related to what's happening at CHRISTMAS TIME in SAN DIEGO!
Where to find cute Santa Photos, have breakfast with Santa, Santa's Mailboxes, where to find the best neighborhoods to look at Christmas Lights, where to go ice skating, where to find a real Christmas tree and REAL snow!, and everything else that happens here in December.

17 Christmas Lights Neighborhoods That Are Worth The Drive
These neighborhoods are all over San Diego from south to east, central to coast and north to inland. I only listed neighborhoods so it makes it more worthwhile to pack up the kids and go for a drive. Crank up the holiday tunes, stop at Starbucks for hot cocoa and cider and have a magical and FREE evening!
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies (2021)
Most of these happen the first weekend after Thanksgiving or the first weekend in December. If you're getting to this a little bit later, there's one or two that have tree lightings in mid-Dec.
Where to Get A Real Christmas Tree in San Diego (2021)
You'll find a huge list of pre-cut tree lots and a few U-CUT Tree Farms. Some of these have fun activities for the kids like ornament making, petting zoos, pony rides, hot cocoa and a few have FREE Santa Photos! Parents can find some fun too like free coffee, sangria and live music.
Where to Find Santa Photos (2021)
These make for the sweetest Christmas moments to look back on year after year and there are some great places to find Santa Clause. Some are sensory friendly, pet friendly, in a secret garden, in a treehouse, in a sleigh, on a boat, at the campground, at the zoo, at the mall and of course you know where to find that LEGO Santa!
Have Breakfast With Santa (2021)
One of the most magical Christmas activities is to have breakfast with that jolly old elf himself! He'll walk around to each table, spend time talking with each child and ask what their Christmas wishes are. BYO Camera for photos, some will include photos, but make sure to book these early because some will sell out quickly.
8 Ice Skating Rinks You'll Melt For in San Diego (2021)
4 are just for the Holidays and the other 4 are for All The Days, yep some are even open year-round! The holiday rinks usually have Christmas music, decor, holiday drinks and more!
Library Holiday Events for Kids in San Diego (2021)
Libraries often get overlooked, but they have fun and FREE holiday events for kids! Like decorating gingerbread houses, making ornaments and even photos with Santa. I pulled all the fun December holidays events for kids from the San Diego Public Library calendar and put them all in this post.
