Lightscape at San Diego Botanic Garden
A 1-mile trail illuminated after dark with glowing art installations 🌸, fire garden 🔥, light tunnels ✨, rainbow trees 🌈 and music along the way. 🎶
Stop for some eats 🥨 & treats 🍪 or sip hot chocolate ☕️ (adults spike yours w/ Baileys 🥃 ;) and be mesmerized by all the light up creations.
This exhibit was specifically customized for the San Diego Botanic Garden, as it was during runs in London, Chicago, Los Angeles & New York.

🕰 TIMES:
Entrance is every 15 minutes from 5-8:30pm, but there’s no time limit to wander.
Closes at 10pm
Each day, the Garden will close at 4 pm for daytime guests and re-open for Lightscape guests at 5 pm.
⏳ DURATION:
It’ll take you between 45-90 minutes to wander throughout. If you cruise through = 45 min. If you take your time to stop, eat and take photos at each spot = 90 min. Or somewhere in between. ;)

Advanced timed tickets are required.
No walk-ups.
No refunds.
No exchanges after 11/14.

Kids (3-12) $13-$18
Kids 2 & under are free

$10 advanced online
$20 on-site, (if available)

Food stand is available (swipe to see menu!). Sandwiches, pretzels, chicken pot pie, hot dogs, brownie, candy, cookies, donuts, water, hot chocolate, cider, beer/wine, Prosecco, Baileys hot toddy

👍 TIPS:
👶🏻 Strollers/Wheelchairs are allowed but there’s some all-terrain, dirt, paved paths and slight inclines
👟 Wear comfortable shoes for all-terrain and long-distance walking
🧣 Dress warmly for those cool nights after dark.
🌳 The Childrens gardens and treehouse are closed during this evening event.
