🐧 NEW PENGUINS AT BIRCH AQUARIUM 🐧

July 12, 2022. Opening day for the Little Blue Penguin habitat at the Birch Aquarium! These are the world's smallest penguins found off the coast of New Zealand and Australia. You can now see them swim, waddle and squeak around their new 2,900-square-foot, 18,000 gallon penguin lagoon.

Good to know: Timed reservations are required to enter Birch Aquarium.

Tip: Go hungry because the Splash Cafe just outside of Birch Aquarium has an excellent food menu, curated by the owner of the French Gourmet in Pacific Beach.
