Kids Folk Rock Concerts
Have you ever been to a little kid's Folk Rock concert? It’s the best thing ever to see all these little kids jump up & down, dance and hop all around like little bunny rabbits! 🐰
Hullabaloo is playing tomorrow (Tues 11/21/17) at the Kensington Library at 10:30am outside. It’s FREE! Bring your blankets and snacks and he’ll provide the egg shakers and scarves for your kiddos to dance around with. Don't worry if you miss it today, he plays over 300 shows a year!, so I'm sure there'll be another one coming up soon that you can catch. Check out his schedule online.
This pic above is from a couple years ago when I used to meet my tribe there every month and let our kiddos run around wild & free. I started taking my kids to his concerts when my first born was just starting to crawl. So, basically he learned to crawl, walk, run and jump around to Hullabaloo. 🕺🏻 🎶
Good to know:
👉 Get there early to find street parking and a good grassy spot right up front!
👉 Burger Lounge and Starbucks are right across the street. Grab your caffeine ☕️ before the show starts and your burgers 🍔 afterward for lunch.
👉 Also good to know: the Kensington Library has a great fenced-in playground on the other side.
👉 And, since it's supposed to be 84 degrees! out on Tuesday (what?!), slather the sunscreen and wear your hats! ☀️ You can also buy one of his super cool new toddler trucker hats at one of his shows. (They're made by local mom boss: Tiny Trucker Co.)
Some of my other favorite venues where he plays at are the Kensington Library, the UTC Mall (conveniently next to the kids play area), the San Diego Zoo, the Bernardo Winery (yass!), KidVentures and the New Children’s Museum. Although my favorite venue of all was in my own small backyard! If your kiddo has a birthday coming up, book him. He’s the coolest, nicest rock star in town. 🎸🌟
He has 12 albums out, has won 17 national awards and has reviews from People to Parenting and more. His love of music shows as he used to be an elementary school music teacher. Aside from all that, he says “what really matters is that Hullabaloo is a foot-stomping, wing-flapping celebration of song that honors and entertains kids and families.” 🥇
